During the FIFA World Cup 2022, Britannia Arabia wanted to immerse themselves in the football festivities and engage their Instagram followers through a creative and interactive campaign.

Brief

To achieve this, I developed a photobooth AR experience that allowed users to record their reactions to four key scenarios: when their team scores a goal, gets a penalty, receives a red card, and wins the game. Followers were encouraged to use this AR effect, upload their reactions to Instagram stories with hashtag #foreveryfan, and participate in a contest where the most creative picture would win a prizes.
The campaign generated significant buzz and excitement, attracting thousands of participants who shared their creative reactions using the Britannia-branded AR effect. This not only fostered a personal connection between the followers, Britannia, and the football festivities but also led to a substantial increase in engagement. As a result, Britannia Arabia experienced a 200% rise in profile traffic, showcasing the effectiveness of the immersive campaign in boosting brand visibility and interaction.
